About us

We are a research group working in the Artificial Intelligence Center (AIC), University of Oviedo at Gijón.

In the last years, the members of this group have participated in several research projects funded through competitive calls by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and more recently by the current State Research Agency of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.

The MLGroup has also accomplished several R+D contracts in collaboration with private companies, which involved the development and application of cutting-edge machine learning techniques in the fields of communications, renewable energy, animal breeding, education, and others.

Currently, the group is developing two projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
